You may have heard Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies in relation to the alleged beating of Rihanna. 

It has also been reported by TMZ that Chris Brown does not want photos released, that were taken two days after the alleged beating of Rihanna.  As well TMS reports that these photos are far more damning than the current photos in circulation.

It was reported by Jay Leno that Chris Brown is now rapping under a new name of ‘Busta Lip’ and is also being represented by Mark Geragos, who also represented Scott Peterson.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has a bone to pick with those who say her sister is looking a bit meatier than usual.

“I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister’s weight,” Simpson wrote Tuesday on her website. “A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.”

Sure enough, Fox’s website reported today that Jessica Simpson shocked fans Sunday at Radio 99.9 Kiss Country’s Chili Cookoff in Pembroke Pines, Fla., with her “noticeably fuller figure” and had apparently “eased up on her fitness regimen a bit.”

Hmmph, says Ashlee.

“All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you’re a celebrity, there shouldn’t be a different standard,” the younger Simpson sis continued.

“Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend? I seriously doubt it. How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure? Now we can focus on the things that really matter.”

In response to the hullabaloo caused by, at worst, a pair of unflattering high-waisted jeans, Simpson’s former trainer told Extra that Jessica Simpson is perfectly healthy and “has curves where a woman needs to have curves.

“We all go a little bit up and a little bit down,” Hollywood trainer Harley Pasternak said. “But she’s healthy. She’s still sexy. She’s still a beautiful woman. And I have no problem with the way she looks. I think if more people looked the way she looks now, the country would be a lot healthier.”

Meanwhile, Jolie admitted that the abduction theme of her latest film scared her for her kids. Esquire names Halle Berry  as the “sexiest woman alive”. Together with a photo spread that shows her in little more than a T-shirt, Halle Berry talks about being the sexiest woman alive. Yes, that’s a title Esquire magazine gives her in its November issue.

Miley Cyrus’ 16th birthday party was more boisterous than sweet. Cyrus celebrated the hallmark birthday at an over-the-top Disneyland celebration Sunday — even though she doesn’t actually turn 16 until Nov. 23. The theme park was closed for the supersized soiree, which included a four-song performance by the teen queen and a fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle and 16 giant inflatable candles.

“Miley is really hard to surprise,” her father Billy Ray Cyrus said at the event.

Organizers estimated over 5,000 people attended the special party, which cost $250 a ticket. On the event’s purple carpet — that’s Cyrus’ favorite color — the “Hannah Montana” star bragged that her parents bought her a new puppy for her birthday. What else does Cyrus want for her birthday? OJ Simpson, who more than a decade ago stunned much of America by beating murder charges, found himself in a Las Vegas jail on Saturday, facing the possibility of life in prison after a jury found him guilty of kidnapping and robbery in a dramatic late-night verdict.

The former football star who walked away from his “Trial of the Century” a free man amid widespread views he had stabbed and slashed his ex-wife and her friend to death, was handcuffed and led to jail on Friday night after he and a co-defendant were convicted of robbing a pair of sports memorabilia dealers at a Las Vegas hotel.

A court clerk quickly rattled off a dozen guilty verdicts against him and co-defendant Clarence “C.J.” Stewart that jurors returned after 13 straight hours of deliberations, 13 years to the day after his October 3, 1995 acquittal in Los Angeles.

Simpson’s family members were left sobbing in the front row of the courtroom and his sister, Carmelita Durio, was treated by paramedics after collapsing.

Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass summarily rejected requests by lawyers for Simpson, 61, and Stewart, 54, that they be allowed to remain free until the December 5 sentencing.

Both men, who were found guilty of conspiracy, burglary, kidnapping, robbery and assault, face mandatory minimum penalties of five years in prison but could end up with life terms.

While Friday’s courtroom scene was emotional, it did not grip America and attract the millions of viewers who watched live in 1995 when Simpson was acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

On Saturday, Ron Goldman’s father, Fred Goldman, told CNN, “We’re absolutely thrilled to see that the potential is that he could spend the rest of his life in jail where that … belongs.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have brought their kids to New York City for the first time since the birth of their twins, Vivienne and Knox.

The family is stateside for Angelina’s new Clint Eastwood-directed movie, “The Changeling,” which she plans to promote at the New York Film Festival on Oct. 4.

The actress and mother of six is scheduled to walk the red carpet at the film’s premiere for the first time since giving birth to her twins.

The family left their French estate in the south of France last month to set up a temporary home outside Berlin while Brad films Quentin Tarantino’s World War II movie, “Inglorious Bastards.”

Tommy Lee Jones is suing the makers of “No Country for Old Men” for more than $10 million that the Oscar-winning actor claims he is owed for starring in the 2007 hit crime thriller.

The lawsuit against Paramount Pictures claims that Jones was promised “significant box-office bonuses” and other compensation depending on the success of the film, which went on to make more than $160 million.

The movie, which is set in Texas and based on a critically acclaimed Cormack McCarthy novel, garnered four Academy Awards, including “Best Picture.”

A message left for Paramount Pictures on Saturday was not immediately returned. Jones declined to comment through his publicist, Jennifer Allen, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

“The paperwork stands for itself,” Allen said.

The lawsuit was filed Thursday in Bexar County in San Antonio. N.M. Classics, Inc., a Paramount subsidiary, is also named in the lawsuit.

Jones, who played Sheriff Ed Tom Bell in the film, claims he was not paid promised bonuses and had expenses wrongly deducted. The suit says Jones was paid a reduced upfront fee in joining the film, and that his contract had known errors not corrected before the movie was made.

Jones, 61, is asking that an auditor be named to review financial records to determine how much he should be paid.

Sarah Palin delivered. An embattled vice presidential candidate, a novice on the national stage, the head of a family suffering its “ups and downs,” the first-term Alaska governor rocked the GOP convention with a star-turning performance.

Wielding a stiletto and a smile, Palin belittled Democrat Barack Obama and praised her new boss, John McCain, jolting the crowd of GOP partisans.
“What’s the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull,” she said, pausing for a beat and a smirk. “Lipstick.” She left the crowd smiling.
It was the crowning moment of a roller-coaster week in which the first woman ever on a Republican presidential ticket has faced questions about how closely the McCain campaign scrutinized her. She also has heard a wide range of inquiries about family issues, her policy positions and her record of public service.
“Our family,” she said, “has the same ups and downs as any other.”
Facing down her critics with smiling resolve, Palin took crowd-delighting swipes at Obama and what she called the Washington elite. “Here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion. I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country,” she said.
A new celebrity herself, Palin cast Obama as a little more than a fancy speaker with a compelling biography.
“The American presidency is not supposed to be a journey of ‘personal discovery.’ This world of threats and dangers is not just a community, and it doesn’t just need an organizer,” Palin said, a clear reference to Obama’s time as a community organizer in Chicago.
The Obama campaign had less than a warm greeting, saying Palin’s speech was “written by George Bush’s speechwriter and sounds exactly like the same divisive, partisan attacks we’ve heard from George Bush for the last eight years.” The speech was written by Matthew Scully, who met Palin for the first time last week.
Selected by McCain only last Friday, Palin addressed the convention amid questions about her qualifications and relative lack of experience.
The first-term governor had top billing at the convention on a night delegates also lined up for a noisy roll call of the states to deliver their presidential nomination to McCain.
Watching her speech were her husband Todd and their children, including daughter Bristol Palin, whom the Palins disclosed earlier in the week was five months pregnant. Bristol’s 18-year-old boyfriend and apparent fiance, Levi Johnston, was seated with them.
McCain shook up the presidential race by picking Palin, a little-known governor less than two years in office. Since then, a bright spotlight has been trained on the life and record of the Republican governor who has bucked the state’s political establishment.
Days after Palin made her debut on the national stage with McCain, the campaign announced her unmarried daughter’s pregnancy. Other disclosures followed, including that a private attorney is authorized to spend $95,000 of state money to defend her against accusations of abuse of power and that Palin sought pork-barrel projects for her city and state, contrary to her reformist image.
“Our family has the same ups and downs as any other … the same challenges and the same joys,” she said.
Noting that the couple’s oldest son, Track, 19, was shipping out to Iraq in eight days with the Army infantry, Palin praised McCain as “a true profile in courage, and people like that are hard to come by.”
“He’s a man who wore the uniform of this country for 22 years, and refused to break faith with those troops in Iraq who have now brought victory within sight. And as the mother of one of those troops, that is exactly the kind of man I want as commander in chief,” she said.
Largely unknown outside her home state, Palin told the convention: “I had the privilege of living most of my life in a small town. I was just your average hockey mom, and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids’ public education better,” she said, speaking of her home town of Wasilla, Alaska, with a population of about 6,500.
“When I ran for city council, I didn’t need focus groups and voter profiles because I knew those voters, and knew their families, too,” she said.
Before becoming governor, Palin served as mayor of Wasilla, she recounted, adding: “And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”
Palin delivered her speech in a firm, cheerful voice. It was her first chance to introduce and define herself to the American public and to explain to fellow Republicans how her experiences as Alaska governor would help galvanize the GOP ticket.
She strongly endorsed more oil exploration and drilling. “Our opponents say, again and again, that drilling will not solve all of America’s energy problems — as if we all didn’t know that already. But the fact that drilling won’t solve every problem is no excuse to do nothing at all,” she said.
Palin has been an aggressive advocate for drilling in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, while McCain opposes drilling there. That difference was not touched on in the speech.

Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren are expecting their second child in mid-winter, he announced on his website Tuesday.

“This has been a year of contrasts,” Woods, 32, wrote. “I had a solid start to the season, won the U.S. Open in an exciting playoff, and then unfortunately had to shut it down after successful knee surgery.

“And now, I have some wonderful news to report. Sam is going to be a big sister.” (Woods and Nordegren welcomed daughter Sam Alexis Woods in June 2007.)

“Elin is feeling great and we are both thrilled,” Woods went on. “While my injury has disappointing and frustrating, it has allowed me to spend a lot of time watching Sam grow. I can’t begin to tell you how rewarding it is being a dad and spending time with her and Elin.

“The injury has been a blessing and a disappointment.” Woods had said after he married in 2004 that he wanted more than one child. (Woods was an only child, while Elin has a twin sister.) “It’s been fantastic these last couple weeks to have Sam Alexis as part of our life,” he said at a press conference to kick off the AT&T National Golf Tournament in July 2007. “It was a dream come true for both Elin and myself. I’ve been changing diapers and doing feedings. I definitely don’t sleep now.”
